Pre Care In the days prior to the procedure try to drink at least 2 litres of water a day so that you are optimally hydrated during treatment. Alcohol should be avoided for 24 hours before hand & up to 48 hours after ideally. For optimal lymphatic drainage, it is important you are hydrated. On the treatment days you should exfoliate the area to be treated. To do this you can use an exfoliating mitt, a dry brush or any other suitable exfoliating equipment. Exfoliate the area for a couple of minutes and this will remove dead skin and open the pores. By exfoliating the area it allows the fat-dissolving agents to better enter the skin and allow you to get the most from your treatment. Apply a couple of pumps of the gel, then wrap in cling film. For optimal results it’s recommended to wear a waist trainer over the top of cling film, leave for at least 2 hours, and make sure your drinking your water to flush the dissolved fat cells out. Take your weight and measurements on day 1 before you start your treatment. Application Protocol At Home: Measure the target area. Apply 10ml of Liquid Lipo to an average stomach area with loose skin. Massage for 5 minutes until the product feels “tacky.” Wrap the area with film and secure it with contouring straps or supportive wear like “pull me in” underwear or gym attire. The cold-tingling sensation results from a chemical reaction in the skin, leading to the secretion of fat in the subcutaneous layers. The amount of fat and skin laxity determine the number of required applications. Liquid Lipo’s unique five-step process: Stimulation – Exfoliating with Mentha Avernis Activation – Caffeine Breakage – Green Tea/Witch Hazel Secretion – Prune Juice Tightening – Aloe Vera Leaf Each ingredient is meticulously timed for its effect, ensuring they don’t neutralize each other prematurely. After Care Following the procedure, it is important you drink 2 litres of water. This is to flush out any of the broken-down fat and toxins released from the fat cells. Because fat is being broken down by the body it is important you drink water or you may develop a headache. The water keeps you hydrated and makes this less likely. If you develop a headache, you should increase your fluid intake. You may notice some slight skin sensitivity following the treatment. This is normal and should only last a few hours. It is important following the procedure that you do not drink alcohol. The body burns off alcohol before fat. Alcohol intake will prevent the procedure from working and should be avoided for 24 hours before & after the procedure. ​The Lymphatic system can only take so much so only one part of the body can be wrapped in one session.
