This vibrant, funky, piece is destined for the beach with its new wavy jellyfish design! This piece was once a faded salmon colour and was going to be thrown out before I rescued it. As the pink was fading in certain places more than others, I knew it was a perfect candidate for tie-dying. I used a dark blue to give it an under the sea feel, whilst drawing inspiration from one of the ocean's most iconic creatures, the jellyfish. As if looking at the jellyfish from a bird's-eye view, you can see the bell, and the different gonads inside that give the jellyfish its distinctive appearance. The lighter blue hues make me think of sunlight permeating the deep blue sea, and the pinks add to this effect as well. With it being sleeveless, this would make a great pick for a beach trip, gym, or a summer staple. I have washed this garment after dying it to ensure excess dye was removed. HOWEVER, please be cautious and wash at low temperatures and with similar colours to avoid any dye leakage for the first few washes. To preserve the vibrancy of this custom piece, please avoid using fabric softeners and tumble dryers, as this may cause the piece to fade more quickly. This piece will be packaged in plastic-free packaging to reduce any harm to the environment.
